The Tennis Club at IronOaks Fitness and Racquet Club hosted another great event in March. The Clay Court Tournament brought out some of the best seen match-ups of the season. There were three divisions in the men’s doubles and two divisions for the women. Group One – Men: 1st Mario Dominguez and Tim Shum, 2nd Mike Corey and Jack Sanders, 3rd Jim Burke and Jerry Rex; Group Two – Men: 1st Bruce Stead and Zev Yardini, 2nd Jerry Geizler and John Brasch, 3rd Bob Walk and Jim Davis; Group Three – Men: 1st Art McMillan and George Hamilton, 2nd Sid DeHaan and Jack Wilson, 3rd Richard Eslick and Rick Kenny; Group One – Women: 1st Sharon Feltus and Lois Newman, 2nd Michelle Mather and Patty Bain, 3rd Lola Bernadelli and Susan Davidson; Group Two – Women: 1st Judy Gahide and Denise Lott, 2nd Betty Dunn and Barb Kudla, 3rd Olena Buxton and Urith Haggerty.
A big thank you to Bill Eastman, Jack Sanders and Don Neu for organizing the tournament! Our ladies do a great job with refreshments during these long events as well.
