Playing golf in May is perfect – not too hot and not too cold. The Cottonwood women demonstrated their skills with a number of different games, giving a variety of results. CLGA wishes all of our players safe travel this summer. We will be waiting to hear about all of everyone’s exploits at other golf courses when you return.

05/15. The play of the day was the Stableford game. When scoring the Stableford game, one point is given for a bogey, two for a par, three for a birdie, four for an eagle, all based on the net score. 05/22. Net Plus Putts. Talk about getting punished for all of those terrible putts; with this game you get to add in the number of your putts twice! – 1st Sandy Johnson, 2nd Diana Ridd, 3rd Joni Hiller
05/29. Crier’s Tournament. With this tournament, the players get to choose their three worst scoring holes and change those scores to par. You can play terrible and still look good.
