May started with the monthly Ace of Aces qualifier on the 7th. Sixty-nine players in four flights played with the low gross and low net scores qualifying for the Ace of Aces tournament in early 2023.

May 14 and 21 was a two-day Eclectic event. Each player’s score was determined by the best score of each hole chosen from both days’ play. This gave each player an opportunity for a do-over.

On May 28 the challenging Blue/White/Gold event was held. Holes 1, 4, 7, 10, 13, and 16 were from the blue tees; holes 2, 5, 8, 11, 14, and 17 were from the white tees, and holes 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, and 18 were from the gold tees. It was a Low Gross/Low Net scoring using the players’ white tee handicap.

June events included a two-day combined Ace of Aces qualifier/Summer Sizzler, a four-man Cottonwood Palo Verde team Beat the Pro, and Cottonwood Combo with nine holes selected by the Pro Shop.
