Because the Cottonwood Golf Course was still closed for overseeding, a four-man team event was played at Palo Verde Golf Course. It was a Beat the Pro Challenge with a scramble format. The Cottonwood and Palo Verde pros competed against 30 teams with equal handicaps. The pros had a bad day on the course, so a good deal of the teams have bragging rights.
The monthly Ace of Aces qualifier was played on Nov. 8. This was the last qualifier before the Ace of Aces Tournament in December. The low gross and low net scores from each flight will qualify.
