Welcome back to all who escaped the heat this summer.
Janet Wallace will again be teaching line dancing in Sun Lakes this coming season. Beginning Nov, 4, classes will be held Mondays in the Dance Studio at the Cottonwood Country Club. New beginner class starts at 11 a.m. where you will not only learn steps but a few basic dances. At noon, beginner dances will be taught followed by improver/low intermediate dances at 1 p.m. Price is $6 per day, whether you dance only one hour or stay for all three hours. If you have always wanted to line dance but never knew how to start, this is for you. For those of you who know line dancing, you can dance to your favorites and learn new dances.
Also, Janet will once again be presenting her Desert Dance 2020 workshops on Jan. 10, 11, and 12. Choreographers teaching and entertaining include internationally-recognized Darren Bailey, Amy Glass Bailey, Niels Paulsen, Scott Blevens, Jonno Liberman, and Bracken Ellis. This is an impressive group and a great opportunity to learn from the best. Contact me or Janet for details at [email protected] or janetjim [email protected].
And coming in late February, Janet has Julia Wetzel conducting a workshop. Julia has choreographed beginner, improver, and intermediate dances and is a rising star in the line dancing world.
