The Cheers discussion group meets every week on Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. in the Stone & Barrel restaurant on the patio in Oakwood Country Club. Put on your thinking cap and come to our meeting with a question or a subject you would like to discuss. No pressing issues right now? Just come and listen. You will discover that this is a very interesting way to meet new friends and people who have similar interests.

One of the subjects the group discussed recently was health care now and in the future. We were very fortunate to have in the group a retired executive from Mayo. He was very informative. Another subject discussed was the growth of construction around this area and what is ahead in the future.

Don’t forget to come join the card clubs – Hand & Foot and Pinochle. Also sign up for Wine Tasting or Fun/Fine Dining or, better yet, volunteer to be a host or hostess.
