Come LAFF with the Talented Cast of ‘The Family Tree’

Carol Horowitz

The most unusual, hysterically funny musical comedy that you’ll ever see!

Have you ever thought of researching your own ancestry? What do you actually know about your own lineage? Do you know where your ancestors lived, loved, or what they looked like? Even more, are you brave enough to accept the results of your research?

Warning #1: Be prepared to LAFF!

Warning #2: Be prepared for surprises! Although the play is indeed about a family tree, don’t be fooled by the title! It’s unlike anything you’d ever expect!

Warning #3: Be prepared to consider the possibilities of what ancestry research may reveal! You never know what to expect if you’re brave enough to research your family tree!

As the cast discovers, secrets hidden in the gnarled and intertwined branches of a family tree can certainly become a life-altering experience!

If you enjoyed last year’s production of A Deli Line, you’ll love The Family Tree, another truly funny original musical comedy. This interfaith cast of approximately 30 actors, singers, and dancers, representing many of the religious organizations within Sun Lakes, is currently LAFF-ing its way through rehearsals!

LAFF (Laughter and Friendship Forever) was created to spread laughter and camaraderie throughout our Sun Lakes communities.

Save the date! Tickets will go on sale starting Feb. 18 and will be sold online and in person through Sun Lakes Country Club where this musical comedy will be performed on stage. There will be four performances: Saturday, March 29, at 7 p.m.; Sunday, March 30, at 3 p.m.; Saturday, April 5, at 7 p.m.; and Sunday, April 6, at 3 p.m.

Our goal is to make our audiences LAFF louder than our cast!
