Ann Abernethy is the Executive Director of Ambassador Programs for Grandparents.com. She began her career with the ABC affiliate in Oklahoma City as a Vice President and Promotion Manager, as well as the host of a public affairs talk show. If her name is familiar with audiences, it is because Regis Philbin whisked her off to New York to be his original co-host on The Morning Show.

She previously hosted her own news feature, Parent Talk on the ABC television affiliate in Santa Barbara, California. Ann is a frequent host/emcee and auctioneer for various charities, having hosted a 12-hour telethon 18 times for Santa Barbara non-profit family crisis organization Unity Shoppe. After moving to Aspen, Colorado, Ann hosted her own show celebrating women and their accomplishments called Kick-Ass Women!

Grandparents.com is making a considerable investment in Arizona by bringing programs and events to grandparents across the Valley. The American Grandparents Association is donating $10 of each grandparent’s membership dues to Phoenix Children’s Hospital or the Children’s Miracle Network Hospital of their choice.
