Kc Coller, Publicity Director
Welcome 2017! Computer Booters of Sun Lakes had a great 2016 year. It was full of computing events that included supreme guest speakers, variety of workshops and fun.
The club finished the year on a high note with the election of officers for 2017, a Christmas celebration ice cream party and the opportunity to listen to Keith Wheeler, a most welcomed guest speaker.
It seemed as if the evening was too short to have been so packed with so much to be accomplished.
The Christmas ice cream event made a merry mood to those that came to share the moment including our guests, Ronald Konopka, Blaine Edmison, Lakin Hines, Dennis Harkins and Barbara and Lou Coller. Guests are always welcome to our meetings with the hopes that they enjoy what they see and will return as members.
A loud applause to the elected 2017 club officers; President Janet Quade, Vice President Darrel Kreglo, Secretary Ed Nowe and Treasurer Howard Winkler. It’s a big decision to step up and take on such duties and the club and its members thank you for doing just that.
Keith Wheeler spoke about the changes in Windows 10 and shared information concerning many of its improvements. Computers are a serious business and he has always been able to tell us about the ups and downs on computer use so that we get more satisfaction and not frustration from them. Being in the computer business Keith turns out to be a huge plus for us. He cares for the users’ satisfaction and shares the newest trends and updates and how to fix it with us. Thank you, Keith Wheeler; we look forward to our next shared meeting.
