Bruce Vantine will be the speaker at the April 1 meeting of Computer Booters. His topic is The Internet “Behind the Scenes.”

How does a simple mouse click get me where I want to go on the Internet? This presentation takes a look at the vast and complex computer networks that actually comprise “The Internet” and what they do.

At the March meeting, Rob Truman showed us the new Computer Booters website and demonstrated some of the functions of the website. Alyssa Carter from the Ed Robson Library then gave an excellent presentation on the various electronic databases available through the library. These e-publications are free for anyone who has a library card.
