Message from the President

As I write this message, we homeowners have been asked to stay indoors, maintain social distancing, and not meet in groups larger than 10. Rather than restate what we have been through, I would like to discuss some things in our community which we can all look forward to enjoying soon.
When the date comes that our Fitness Center reopens, it will have some changes. There will be new hours, some cardio machines will not be available to create social distancing, and the cleaning of the equipment will require more time. Initially, locker rooms, saunas, and the spa will not be available. Restrooms will be open. Everyone will have an infrared thermometer forehead check before entering the facility. Those who have an elevated temperature will not be allowed in the facility. Management has consulted with an infectious disease control specialist and will be following established guidelines to keep our staff and homeowners safe.
There are some projects that have been discussed at our board meetings but not yet completed:
* Remodeling the Palo Verde restaurant and bar restrooms
* Repaving the parking lots at Cottonwood, Palo Verde, and Sisk Park
* Remodeling the Cottonwood Bar & Grill
* Building new pickleball courts
* Repurposing the old Fitness Center
These are all in various planning and/or approval stages. Please stay updated with community and information provided by “In The Know” and The Flyer on a weekly basis.
There are exciting times ahead! I look forward to seeing everyone around the community, using all our amenities. Remember to social distance, wash your hands often, and stay safe.
