Get out your walking shoes, everyone! The very first Cottonwood Palo Verde Fun Walk is scheduled to take place at 9:00 a.m. Saturday on November 5. The walk will take place around one or all of the five lakes – it’s your choice. You can pick your poison! Do a half mile walk, a one mile walk, or take a big bite out of all of them and do the entire walk for a whopping 2.7 mile walk. The starting and ending points will be at the Cottonwood greenbelt, across from the tennis courts. Water will be available at several points along the routes.

For a $20 fee, participants will get a Fun Walk tee shirt, a goodie bag, and admittance to a pre-walk party on Friday night, entertainment by Ms. Senior Arizona winners, vendors, some great exercise and a whole lotta fun.

The walk will raise funds for Neighbors Who Care and the registration deadline is October 21. Please note that your donation may be fully tax deductible. Forms for registration can be downloaded at www.cottonwoodpaloverdefoundation.org or you can pick them up at Cottonwood Homeowner Services in the Administration Building.
