At our special Veteran’s Day Celebration this year, the East Valley Young Marines presented the colors along with a Flag folding demonstration. After this very touching moment, the flag was then presented to the oldest veteran in the audience, Mr. Louis Verrochi (94 years young!). Thank you to all who attended and those who participated, like our Veteran Guest Speaker, Dr. Julian Pickens, who also led us in a beautiful prayer. Dr. Maddy Paschal and John (saxophone) did a great job singing and playing our national anthem, and then later performed Amazing Grace. Another special guest was Ford Dudley, who played two inspiring songs on his bagpipes to close out the event. Thank you to Dave Stevens, who took care of all our sound needs, along with a visual presentation of all the Armed Forces.
