The thrill of victory and the agony of defeat comes and goes. These are two of the 12 teams that experienced these emotions in the Cottonwood Tennis Club (CTC) Championship matches during the week of Jan. 8. In the Ladies 4.0 Red Division, Barb Jorgensen and Cindy Guillaume took away the trophy from runners-up team Cindy McCarville and Kathy Molitor.
You can experience the same fun, camaraderie, and exercise with the Cottonwood Tennis Club. New members are welcome and invited to the CTC to learn or return to the lifelong sport of tennis. There are excellent facilities for all levels of play.
Free lessons for members and guests are on Mondays from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Open casual drop-in is on Thursdays from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
