Gila Butte Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), enjoyed their annual holiday celebration on Dec. 20. Joining us was the National Essay “What America Means to Me” winner, Samthrya “Sam” Kumar, and his family. Sam read his essay for the Chapter and received a commemorative plaque. The Chordaires choral group entertained us with carols and sing-alongs. At the end of the day, all Daughters present gathered together for a group photo. This is always a wonderful time we spend with friends and family. Thank you, ladies, for your dedication to Gila Butte Chapter.
