The Democratic primary is Aug. 2, 2022 (you can confirm or check your voter registration at the Secretary of State’s website). From now on, our meetings will afford you a chance to meet the candidates who are running, as well as updates from our Arizona House Representative for LD13, Jennifer Pawlik

Speakers:

Rep. Reginald Bolding, Candidate for AZ Secretary of State

Serving his third term in the AZ House from LD 27, Mr. Bolding is a candidate in the Democratic primary for AZ SOS. He is an educator and was a special education teacher in South Phoenix before running for office.

Kris Mayes, Candidate for the AZ Attorney General

Ms. Mayes, an Arizona native from Prescott, has her undergraduate and law degree from ASU and a master’s degree in public administration from Columbia University. She served on the Arizona Corporation Commission from 2003 (appointed) to 2010 when she was termed out.

Jennifer Pawlik, LD 17 AZ House Representative (now LD13 due to redistricting)

Rep. Pawlik will update us on the 2022 Legislative session. As a teacher and on the House Education committee, she will provide insight to the status of education in our state and why she is running for re-election.

Cindy Hans and Michael Morris, Candidates for AZ LD 13 Senate

There will be a contested Democratic primary for the LD 13 AZ Senate Seat. Both candidates will speak and let us know why they should be the Democratic candidate for this seat.

We will also have Chandler City Council candidates and Chandler Unified School District School Board candidates in attendance to address those races in 2022.
