There will be a vote to extend the Override funding for the Chandler Unified School District this fall. Jennifer Pawlik, a former teacher in the Chandler Unified School District, will provide the information needed for your vote on November 7. This will be an election by mail only, so please watch your mail in mid-October for your ballot.

Jevin Hodge, an experienced political campaign strategist and dynamic motivational speaker, will be speaking about the future of the Democratic Party in Arizona and the upcoming 2018 elections for State and Legislative offices. Jevin is a great example of the next generation of Democratic leadership in Arizona.

The Sun Lakes Democratic Club collects non-perishable food items for Matthew’s Crossing Food Bank. Please bring your tax-deductible contributions to the drop off area in the west parking lot from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Ask for a receipt. The club collected 55 pounds of food and $63.00 in cash in July. The totals for the year, so far, are $872.50 of food and $347.00 in cash. We appreciate all you do.
