Guest speaker: Amina Kruck

Amina Kruck is the Vice President of Advocacy at Arizona Bridge for Independent Living. Amina creates programs to empower individuals with disabilities to address barriers to consumer choice, equal rights and self- determination.

Several Candidates for various state, county, and federal offices will be present to meet and speak with members.

At all club meetings, non-perishable food items are collected for Matthew’s Crossing Food Bank. Collections take place on meeting nights in the west parking lot from 6:30-7:00 p.m. There is also a collection box at the north entrance of the Sun Lakes Sunset Grill lobby. In 2015 the total amount collected for Matthew’s Crossing was 2,310.5 lbs. of food and $686. The amount collected in May 2016 (490 lbs. of food and $35) shows we are off to a good start with totals of 1,746 lbs. of food and $145.
