Welcome April here in the desert as our landscape continues to inspire artists’ appreciation of its evolving beauty. April also means some of our friends will be returning to northern climates for the summer. You surely will be missed, but enjoy the heartfelt times with family and friends you so cherish.
The Desert Artists Club meets each Tuesday afternoon from 3 to 6 p.m. in the Ceramics Room (A-8) in Cottonwood, across from the library in the courtyard. We invite any artist to join if you live in any of the three HOAs in Sun Lakes. You are welcome to stop in any Tuesday and check out our club. Ask questions and see us in action. We meet together to inspire and be inspired by fellow artists and enjoy a fellowship of like-minded folks. We bring our own supplies and projects that we are working on. We are a casual club with no dues or regular meetings. We share social gatherings and occasional outings. We also have a collection of instructional and inspiring art books that members may borrow. We are a fun and diverse group of many talented artists. Some artists have taught, and some of us are artists in the making. Come join us. There is always more to learn and experience. We remember that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
