Here we are again crossing a “New-Year Bridge” on our artistic path, opening up opportunities to explore or continue on our path of artistic expression. We are fortunate to be able to share our love and passion for art and to use our time and talents to enrich our lives and others with inspiration and encouragement in the Desert Artists Club.

We have the gift of time and place with other artists each week at the Desert Artists Club in Sun Lakes. We meet each Tuesday, year round, from 3 to 6 p.m. in the Ceramics Room (A-8) in Cottonwood. We come together and work on our own projects, bringing our own supplies. We work/play in many different mediums, such as oil, watercolor, acrylic, collage, pen and ink, charcoal, colored pencils, or you name it. We are artists of all abilities, from professional to those just beginning to follow their path. As a casual club, we have no dues or regular meetings. We do have social times and Share Your Art displays every few months. This club has been in existence for several decades and continues to provide the social and creative networking and friendships that evolve over time.

We invite any artist or wannabe artist who lives in one of the three HOAs of Sun Lakes to join our club. If you are new to Sun Lakes or have been thinking of joining a group of fellow artists, we invite you to stop in any Tuesday and check out our fun and friendly group of artists and see if this would be a place for you to pursue your artistic desires. Most anyone in the club can answer your questions. You may call me at 480-745-2198 and leave a message, or email me at [email protected] for any questions that you may have.
