Welcome to December in Arizona. The weather has been great for outdoor activities or heading to the Ceramics Room (A-8) in Cottonwood, to join other artists at the Desert Artists Club each Tuesday from 3 to 6 p.m. all year round. Any artist who lives within the three HOAs of Sun Lakes is able to join. This well-established group is a casual club with no regular meetings or dues. We gather to be with other artists in a relaxing and accepting environment. Each artist brings their own painting or drawing supplies and works in their preferred medium at their own pace. We have artists of all levels. We find it helpful and fun to work with other creative beings, as it’s often encouraging and inspirational. We occasionally have a social gathering potluck and Share Your Art exhibit. These are fun and delicious get-togethers.
