The Desert Navy is looking forward to a fresh start for us all as we welcome in the new year. Our normal scheduling will continue as before, with meetings held in the months of September through April. Keep your calendars close by, as there have been some changes relating to times, days, and locations of future meetings. The meetings are scheduled monthly on the third Wednesday of the month at 10 a.m. and will be held in the Friendship Room. The Friendship Room is located in the main building (where the restaurant is located) at Sun Lakes Country Club. Just as a reminder for all club members, dues for 2024 were due at the January meeting. Additionally, many of our members meet socially weekly on Tuesdays at Black Bear Diner in Chandler at 2 p.m. For more details about this, call the number listed below or just pop in.

One of our primary goals within our organization is to provide help and support to any veterans in need. Our club maintains a well-stocked inventory of medical supplies that are only a phone call away. Feel free to call the number below if you have any questions relating to this. In inventory is a variety of items that can help, whether the need is for short or long term. This also includes a selection of motorized units that could vastly help improve the quality of life with added mobility for those in need.

At our meetings, whenever possible, we have a guest speaker invited to participate as a part of the meeting. We do have a guest speaker scheduled for our upcoming meeting in February. Typically, our guest speakers provide us with not only a wealth of information, but advice and aids on how we can check into some available benefits that we may not be totally aware of.
