The Desert Navy continues to look forward to a year filled with excitement and adventure as we move on a little further into the new year. When possible, we plan on having a qualified guest speaker at our meetings as part of our normal agenda. In the past, this has been an extra bonus, helping us all to stay current with benefits that are available to those who have served in the military and their families.

Our meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month starting at 10 a.m. in the Friendship Room, which is located in the main building of Sun Lakes Country Club. Veterans of all branches of the military are always welcome.

The primary goal of our organization is to provide support to those veterans and others who are in need. To support that, we maintain a warehouse that contains a variety of medical equipment that can be obtained by just making a phone call. Our club meets monthly from October through April of each year. A big plus over the past year, with the support of many, was that our club was able to team up with another local organization in providing a large number of motorized electric scooters to several people who required support to help with their long-term disability, helping them improve their daily quality of life.
