The second Wednesday of each month is our book group, called Literary Ladies, on Zoom at 1:30 p.m.

The Lions of Fifth Avenue, by Fiona Davis, on Wednesday, June 19, at 1:30 p.m.
Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone, by Diana Gabaldon, on Wednesday, July 10, at 1:30 p.m.
On the third Wednesday we collect non-perishable food for JFCS (Jewish Family and Children’s Services) in various communities in the East Valley between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Our last general meeting until the fall was on May 22 at the EVJCC. Out to Lunch at Tao Garden in Chandler followed the meeting.
We will continue to have Out to Lunches this summer on the following dates: Wednesday, June 26, at 1 p.m. and Wednesday, July 24, at 1 p.m. Restaurants to be determined. For more information, contact Gail Scheck at [email protected].
Chick Flicks is our movie group. The dates and movies vary each month but include a discussion of the film at lunch following the film.
Coming this summer is the Rosh Hashanah Honey sales fundraiser. Please contact Susan Fox at [email protected] or 520-705-3226 if interested in purchasing honey for the high holidays for your friends and family.
Our Game Day Fundraiser to benefit Hadassah Medical Organization held on April 3 at the EVJCC was a big hit! Everyone had a great time. Next year will be even better. We look forward to seeing lots of new faces next year!
Did you know Devorah sells greeting cards? Yes, we have cards for all occasions: birthday, condolence, bar/bat mitzvah, anniversary, get well, congratulations, in honor of, and major holidays. We sell these for $2 each or 12 for $21 if you want to have a selection on hand. However, if you just need an occasional card(s), let us know and we will mail it for you and pay the postage. Such a deal! We also have several different certificates ranging in price from $5, $18, to $100. These are ready to view at all in-person events.
