Many people move to Sun Lakes because of the numerous activities, restaurants, and entertainment options provided in the community. Things we once enjoyed came to a screeching end during the pandemic. Now that vaccines are available to protect us, we can meet with friends for dinner and listen to music once again.

Diana Perez, our own Sun Lakes resident, is excited to perform piano/vocal at Palo Verde Country Club on New Year’s Eve. Diana specializes in a variety of music from the ‘40s through the ‘80s, and many of the songs that are dear to her heart keep people coming back for more.

Diana is originally from Aurora, Ill., which is a suburb of Chicago, and moved to the City of Chandler over 20 years ago. She has resided in Cottonwood in Sun Lakes for the last 10 years. Diana believes in giving back to the community. She volunteers a monthly performance at The Perfect Place, an adult center that provides social and recreational activities for individuals with cognitive impairment. Her piano/vocals of songs of their generation elicit many dear memories. The participants eagerly await her return, as they are sure to have a wonderful time with Diana. You, too, will love her music if you go to see her at Palo Verde Country Club on New Year’s Eve.
