Join the HLAA (Hearing Loss Association of America) East Valley Chapter from 12:45 to 2:30 p.m. on Jan. 8 at Sun Lakes United Methodist Church, 9248 Riggs Road, Sun Lakes. We will meet Shannon Tyree, VP of the HLAA West Valley Chapter. Shannon will be showing us apps on our iPhone or Android cell phones that will help us better understand the conversations and sounds around us. She will also show us additional accessibility features to make our lives a little easier. Some of these features could even save your life! So, please join us. Bring a friend, enjoy a snack, and get some valuable information in a casual setting.
