We have adorable Beanie Babies that are waiting to be matched up with children’s books at our January meeting. Thanks to Sun Lakes resident Sue Davis for donating them. We have a need of children’s books to go with them. At our December meeting, we will be packaging Christmas bags. Our goal is to donate at least 50 bags, with half of those going to A New Leaf in Mesa and the other half going to My Sister’s Place in Chandler. We include wrapped Christmas candy and a stocking stuffer in each bag and are requesting donations. If you would like to donate either wrapped Christmas candy or stocking stuffers for boys and girls, please bring them to the Sewing Room in a bag marked “Dolly Dressers,” put them in the cabinet marked “Dolly Dressers,” or bring them to our meeting on Dec. 5 in the Oakwood Sewing Room.

Dolly Dressers & More is a charity special interest group of Sew-N-Sews.  We welcome new members to join. Dolly Dressers & More meets every month on the first Thursday at 1 p.m. in the Sewing Room at the Oakwood Arts and Crafts building. Our next meeting will be held on Dec. 5. Sew-N-Sews’ general meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month at 1 p.m. in the Navajo Room at Sun Lakes Country Club.
