The DW Chapter of P.E.O. is delighted to reveal that the winner of the Marilyn Steen quilt raffle held March 14 was Gwen Fleming, a chapter member.

We do appreciate those who supported our raffle. A check for $1,655 was sent to Cottey College to be used towards a scholarship for any qualifying high school graduate to attend the prestigious, all-girl, four-year Bachelor of Arts College in Nevada, Mo., in the name of Marilyn Steen.

Cottey and the P.E.O. Sisterhood have been partners in the education of women for 94 years.

It is P.E.O.’s continued mission to help women of all ages reach their potential goal through financial assistance through scholarships, grants, or loans.
