Old MacDonald had a farm … well, Egg N’ Joe has some downright hometown vittles, and it’s time to move on from forests and scary bears to the farm. First Baptist Church of Sun Lakes (FBCSL) men’s hunt for the Best Blessed Breakfast in town takes a new turn in July. This is new, uncharted territory for us, and we’re bound to meet some challenges. We must be prepared for the unexpected wild pig or any other creature we might encounter.
On Saturday, July 13, Egg N’ Joe will be our next destination, and at a new time: 8 a.m. sharp. Rise with the rooster and meet us there. Be very wary of wild farm animals. They can be quite dangerous. Set your scope and keep your eyes on the target, and you just might spy one of the many delicious fares that Egg N’ Joe has to offer. Will one of them earn Egg N’ Joe the coveted Best Blessed Breakfast trophy? Only time will tell.
Our hunt is far from over, men. You must be ready to break camp at any time. Where will the hunt take us next month? Who knows? What we do know is that it will be an interesting trek into the unknown. What dangers will we face? Whatever they are, we are fortified by the Armor of God.
