Do you watch the show Fixer Upper with Chip and Joanna Gaines? Well, they may have some competition right here in our own community now that Scott and Suzy Steinmann of Redeemed LLC have moved in.

Scott, 44, and Suzy, 55, have been flipping homes for several years and have concentrated primarily in the Sun Lakes area. In addition to flipping, they also help folks buy a home that needs renovating and refer the contractors and materials to complete their remodeling project. They even help people who want to stay in their current home but just don’t have the time or desire to handle a remodeling project on their own.

Suzy has been a full-time realtor in the Valley for over 26 years. She currently serves on the Professional Standards Committee, was a former panel chair and is also currently a mediator and ombudsperson for the Southeast Valley Regional Association of Realtors.

Suzy is also a professional singer who has performed at various venues around the Valley including Gainey Ranch, The Phoenician, Estancia in Scottsdale as well as Anthem Country Club. Her most recent performances have been at the Tipsy Cactus and a long-standing engagement at the Queen Creek Olive Mill.

Scott has had a 20+ year career in minor league baseball, currently serving as a minor league manager with the Oakland Athletics. He is skipper for the Beloit Snappers in the Midwest League based out of Wisconsin.

In 2014, Steinmann’s Lumberking team made history and landed a four-page article in Sports Illustrated touted as “The Comeback Kids” and won the “Game of the Year” award from MiLB for a 16-run comeback win in 12 innings against the Burlington Bees.

In addition to the remodeling duo, Mike Dils, Suzy’s long-time co-worker and partner, is the “Clint” of their operation. Mike is a top-rated wood worker and fabricates all of their wood working projects. He also helps oversee the day-to-day operations and consults on all their trouble shooting issues.

Mike and his wife Cheryl recently moved to Sun Lakes as well and live in Ironwood. Mike is a Vietnam vet who was recently disabled by a stroke … but even the need for a walker doesn’t seem to slow him down! His wife Cheryl is a full-time hairdresser.

Redeemed LLC is a Christian-based company that prides itself on having high standards for quality of construction, not cutting corners and going the extra mile. Scott and Suzy just celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary and have plans to stay in Sun Lakes and continue with their various renovation projects. They enjoy all that Sun Lakes has to offer and currently reside in Oakwood. They have three grown children and three grandkids. Scott is a Cincinnati, Ohio, native and Suzy is from Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.
