The Fun Lakers Club held a members-only Progressive Dinner on April 29. The evening began with a stop at members’ homes for appetizers and drinks. After enjoying appetizers, guests traveled to their second home location for a Sonoran dinner. Following dinner, everyone met back at the Oakwood Poolside Cafe for dessert, music and dancing. It was a great night for gathering together over great food and fun. Thank you to everyone who volunteered to open their homes for the event and a special “thank you” to Jackie and Don Morgan for planning and organizing this successful evening. It was truly delightful!

On May 20, the Fun Lakers Club will be hosting a picnic at Sisk Park. This event is open to members and guests. The flyer and registration form will be sent to all members, and additional information may be found on our website at www.funlakers.org.
Our club develops activities throughout the entire year, so whether you’re a snowbird or a full-time resident, there’s always something to do at FLC. We have several proposed activities for club members this summer. In June, we will host a wine-tasting at D’Vine restaurant. July will be a club game night, and in August we will meet for bowling and billiards. Details will be available on our website and sent directly to the membership. Please also save the date of December 9 for our holiday dinner/dance.
