In July, join the Fun Lakers at our reserved table on July 11 for a night of music and dancing with DJ Jamal at the San Tan Ballroom. Beginning at 5:00 p.m. you can dine at your table in the Ballroom and enjoy your favorite beverage from the cash bar. Dancing and snacks will be available from 6:30-9:30 p.m. While this event is hosted by the Cottonwood HOA and is open to the public, we can still reserve a table and socialize with our members both old and new. Tickets are on a first come, first served basis, so we will need to receive your ticket money no later than June 19.
Please make your checks payable to Fun Lakers in the amount of $5 per person and send your check and registration form to Judy Dakin, 25824 S. Ashwood Dr., Sun Lakes, AZ 85248. Checks must be received no later than June 19.

August brings us another great event. Join us for a super summer stay-cation getaway. It all starts on Friday, August 14 at 5:30 p.m. at the Oakwood Poolside Café. Pack your weekender bag for a Meet and Greet potluck. The gathering begins with a cash bar. At 7:00 p.m. a drawing will be held and a lucky couple will be presented with a champagne and goodie gift basket to enjoy on a two night getaway weekend at the luxurious FireSky Resort in Scottsdale. A $100 house credit is included in your package. The cost for this members only event is only $10 per person plus a dessert or appetizer to share. Be prepared to depart when your name is called. The other Fun Lakers will party in your absence.
The FireSky is a pet friendly resort, or, if you prefer, our local experienced pet sitters will care for your pet free of charge either in your home or in theirs.
Registration forms and payments must be mailed via US Mail and received no later than Monday, August 10. Sorry, no exceptions for this event. Please make checks payable to Fun Lakers Club and mail them along with your registration form to Mary Ann Betti, 9607 E. Nacoma Dr., Sun Lakes, AZ 85248.
