Summer has arrived, and we all look forward to those beautiful but hot days ahead as we search for “cool” activities. With that in mind, the Fun Lakers Club plans and develops activities for every month of the year. So, whether you’re a snowbird or a full-time resident, here for the winter or staying all year round, there’s always something to do and enjoy with FLC.
On Monday, July 17, FLC will be hosting a wine-tasting event at D’Vine Bistro & Wine Bar, located at Alma School and Ocotillo Road. A special buffet will be served along with the wine-tasting. It will be a great time to gather with other full-time residents for a relaxing evening at one of our premier neighborhood bistros.
Then join us for a fun-filled night of bowling on August 19 at McRay Plaza Lanes on Ray Road in Chandler, beginning at 5:30 p.m. The price is $27.50 for club members and $32.50 for nonmembers/guests. The price includes two hours of bowling, shoes, pizza and snacks. The deadline to register is August 11. As the fall season begins, please mark your calendar for the following events:
September 16 – Hawaiian Luau; October 21 – Octoberfest and Dance and November 18 – Bingo Night.
To complete the fall season, the Fun Lakers Club will be hosting its annual Holiday Dinner/Dance on December 9. The featured band for the evening will again be Chuck E. Baby and the Allstars. It is quite a special holiday event for all Fun Lakers, so be sure to save the date.

The Fun Lakers Club is all about creating and fostering new and lasting friendships and having fun.
