The Sun Lakes Dinner/Dance Party, sponsored by the Fun Lakers Club, is held in the Oakwood Ballroom (note the new location), always on a Thursday. The schedule for 2019/2020 is as follows: Nov. 14, Jan. 9, Feb. 13, March 19, and April 16. The Holiday Dinner/Dance on Saturday, Dec. 14, is a separate event and is not included in the season package.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Dinner menu—choose from three dinner items. There is a free dance lesson beginning at 6:30 p.m. and open dance from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Music is provided by Thaddeus Rose.
The cost is $12 per person at the door if you did not purchase the season package.
Solo Group: Two tables will be designated for singles to meet, dance, and enjoy the evening.
