The holidays can be challenging, especially when one is grieving a loss.

During the months of November and December, Sun Lakes United Methodist Church (SLUMC) will offer a safe place for sharing, support, and learning how to navigate the challenges of holiday traditions, plans, and memories faced by people who are grieving.

Led by Polly Smith, RN, BSN, LNC, the gatherings will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 5, 12, and 19, from 1:30 to 3 p.m. in Room 1 of the SLUMC Education building, 9248 E. Riggs Road, Sun Lakes.

Gatherings will be informal and attendance flexible, as participants’ schedules vary during this busy season. Please indicate your interest in attending some or all by calling the church office at 480-895-8766, so we will know how best to prepare to welcome you.
