The Cottonwood Palo Verde Foundation has awarded another grant to a very deserving and important organization in Sun Lakes. This grant will help support services that are both education and health related – a real win-win!

The grant application was made by The Perfect Place Adult Day Services. It is a local non-profit adult day care facility which provides a safe, structured, recreational environment with staff and volunteers to care for those who can no longer care for themselves. They provide respite and support for caregivers.

The purpose of the grant request was to fund their Friday Focus Forum program which will offer educational seminars to caregivers in the community dealing with the challenges of memory and neurological diseases. The Perfect Place will provide caregivers with respite care for their loved ones while the caregivers are attending the Friday Focus Forum seminars and offer financial support by scholarshipping this care!

CWPV Foundation President Elaine Kraemer and CWPV Foundation Treasurer Kelly Murray presented a check to Judith Waltersdorf, Director of Operations at The Perfect Place, on November 7, 2017.

Call The Perfect Place at 480-895-2892 for more information, or contact them by email at [email protected]

Thank you, all!
