If you missed our first “open house” dance on September 17, don’t despair. We are having another one on October 15. It was our pleasure to mingle with all our guests and enjoy an evening of dancing (to Route 66 Band), socializing and great music. For October, we will be dancing to the Beat of Rich Howard’s Orchestra. As before, all of Sun Lakes and surrounding communities are invited. We expect another full house, so please email or call ahead using the information at our website, www.sunlakes-sundaydanceclub.com. Check-in starts at 6:00 p.m., and the band plays from 6:30-9:30 p.m.
Once again, in response to many requests, Mary Lou Kaye, our club’s resident dance instructor, will have her special “Social Dance Class.” This one-hour class is not geared toward a single dance, but helps any novice dancer to dance to a greater variety of dances. Check the flyers at all Sun Lakes restaurants for time and location.
The “Pre-dance Dinner” in the Cottonwood Bar and Grille was again enjoyed by so many guests and members. The dinner is held prior to every dance this season (except Valentine’s Banquet which is held during the dance) beginning at 5:00 p.m. Come join friends and meet new ones before the dance. The dinner is optional and self-pay.
Our Sunday Dance Club is open to everyone, so please come and enjoy a great evening with us. Please note: Dress is business club casual (ties optional), but absolutely no shorts, t-shirts or flip flops. Thank you.
