David and Sandy Mork

David and Sandy Mork were married on March 1, 1969, in Richfield, Minnesota, during a blizzard. On March 1, 2019, they celebrated their 50-year wedding anniversary in Zihuatanejo, Mexico. They renewed their vows in both Spanish and English, surrounded by 50 friends from three countries. A reception was held afterward at the Pacifica Grand Resort with food, music and dancing to a live band. The La Vista Restaurant, overlooking the bay of Zihuatanejo, was the site of the festivities. They will have a family celebration when they return from their six weeks in Mexico.

Their daughter Lisa and her husband Nathan and two daughters live in Scottsdale, and their son Jason and his wife Heather and their two sons live in Chandler. After many years in Minnesota, they have resided in Sun Lakes for 15 years.
