It’s time to plan your holiday activities. This year will definitely be different. It’s a time when we hope families can be together. It may not be in the same manner as other years, but still be together. It may be using Zoom, calling each other, writing notes, sending pictures to grandparents who don’t have a computer, or sharing time outdoors.
It’s time to get out the decorations and get into the holiday spirit. Plan the Thanksgiving dinner if you are cooking. Get friends and family together (distancing of course) for Thanksgiving dinner or a walk outdoors.
Thanks to all of you who have brought items for the Chandler/Hamilton school children in need. It’s important that we all do as much as we can to help these students work to achieve a better life. Keep the donations coming. Also, money is used to buy the items needed by these students. For more details about donations or the Christmas dinner project, call Cheers members Sally Wegryn at 203-470-0733, Sue Agnew at 480-491-3774, or check out our website at www.cheerssingles.org.
If you are a single living in Sun Lakes, SunBird, Solera, or Springfield, you are welcome to join us when life begins to be more normal. We would love to have you as a member.
