A few aches and pains? A recent surgery? A chronic health condition? These circumstances, and many others, can benefit through the application of hands-on healing. If you are experiencing any of these, you will probably be using medications to assist you in numerous ways. Reiki is another modality you, or a loved one, can also apply to assist your recovery.
Reiki (Ray-Key) is the practice of allowing healing-balancing energy to flow through your hands to a part of your own body, or into another person’s body, to help in relieving discomfort and in assisting the natural healing process.
Energy healing has been utilized by various cultures throughout human history, and there are many names by which it is known. A Native American name is Wakan Tanka. It has been called The Healing Power of the Love of God. Russian scientists used the term BioCosmic Energy. In the Pali language, it is Eckankar. Ancient Greeks referred to it as Pneuma. In Japanese, its name is Reiki.
It’s an old concept that everyone has the capacity to allow Healing-Balancing Energy to flow through them. Classes will be offered in Sun Lakes this spring to teach you how to access the energy and utilize it for your own benefit and to give it to loved ones.

I’ve been using Reiki energy for over 30 years, to support my own wellbeing and to help others. I have taught Reiki for 21 years. My dad did laying-on of hands for my brother and me when we were kids, so I grew up with the understanding that the Holy Creator provides healing power in that manner for assistance in all types of situations requiring balance and harmony. I give myself Reiki every day to aid me in maintaining homeostasis and to keep me moving forward in my personal progress.
As Reiki flows through me, I feel a sense of peace and grace fill me. I think the more people allow healing energy, the more peace and contentment we’ll find in ourselves, and in the world.
Looking forward to having you in class.
