Several studies on how happy people are at various stages of life have concluded the “elderly” come out ahead.
The Restless Minds discussion group will explore that conclusion and other happiness factors at its December Zoom meeting.
The discussion will take place from 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 8. Zoom sign-in instructions will be sent to all those on the group’s email list. Others who may want to participate should send an email to Bill Gates at email@example.com by Dec. 7.
Since most of us are part of the age group studied, we’ll discuss how well the theory holds up in our own lives.
Other likely areas of discussion include actions and factors that can contribute to happiness, the influence of animals on our happiness, the relationship of money and happiness, and what tips to improve happiness have worked in our own lives.
Restless Minds is a monthly discussion group receptive to all people with open, inquisitive minds. There are no dues or membership requirements for the 20-year-old organization.
All political and social points of view are encouraged to engage in this friendly exchange of ideas on the second Tuesday of each month, September through April.
