As we get into the nitty gritty of the 2016 golf season, it is worth noting the several lessons and clinics that have been made available to us throughout the next few months by the Oakwood Pro Shop. Class sizes are limited so contact them early. A check is your confirmation.

ILGA’s membership for this year presently stands at 193, with 16 new members. That number is down from last year. Contact your non-member friends and have them join us for a golfing good time!

It isn’t too early to talk about Swing for Hope, our annual charity event. The date this year is April 7. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could take our total donations to cancer research over the $100,000 mark? After our 2015 contribution, we were at $92,000 since we began donating in 1997. Joni Hiller is our chairperson this year and she would love to hear from you with your ideas and your help. More information will be online over the next few weeks.

Please watch the website ironwoodladies.info for upcoming events. The low net championship is in February and the club championship is in March. Plan ahead and sign up!
