A membership total of 215 ILGA golfers are well into their game and hoping that their evil twin does not show up on league play day! The Best of the Best tournament yielded Nan Atkison as the low gross winner and Vicki Carmichael the low net winner. Other awards bestowed by President Karen Beltz went to Lois Foerster for her eagle and to Betty Lauer for the 2014 most improved golfer. The low net championship is a February event and the club championship will be played in March for three weeks starting on the March 12.

Our first luncheon is scheduled for March 5. Plan to attend and get caught up on all our events as well as enjoy the camaraderie of all your golfing friends! Checks for $11 need to be in the ILGA drawer by March 1.

Plans for the annual Swing for Hope on April 2 are well under way. This is ILGA’s annual charity event. All members are encouraged to participate. Donations go to the University of Arizona’s Cancer Center.

As the tournament draws closer, applications will be available online and in the Ironwood Pro Shop. Let’s make it our goal to exceed last year’s donations of $8868. If you have any questions about this worthy cause, please call Betty Dupuis, Chairperson for Swing for Hope, at 480-802-7090.

Up to date information on all events and activities are available online at ironwoodladies.info.
