One game was played at each course. This year a sumptuous chili dinner was provided by the Sun Lakes ladies after the second play day, to the enjoyment of all!

February is the month to start thinking about our annual charity event, Swing for Hope. It will be held Thursday, March 30, and the format will be similar to recent years. Our Vice President Jane Huber is the Chairperson and can be contacted at 602-295-6309 or [email protected]. Jane is presently looking for committee members and sponsors. Any assistance offered will be welcomed. Check the website ironwoodladies.info for more information on the day’s activities. We surpassed our goal of last year by submitting $10,753 to The University of Arizona Foundation for cancer research. New year, new goal! Please begin your plans to attend, enjoy a fun day of golf and a day of remembrance for all those we know who have dealt with the hard issues of cancer.

February also brings our annual Low Net Championship event. Play days are the 9th and 16th. One winner is chosen from the cumulative net scores, and will be fêted at our next luncheon to be held on March 2. Plan to compete and then to celebrate!
