No need to bring data, as the quote from business theorist and industrial engineer W. Edward Deming implies, but plan to attend the Sun Lakes Democratic Club’s (SLDC) May 12 meeting to learn of the important data collected from the 2024 election.
Sam Almy, who has worked in politics since 2008 on campaigns ranging from the U.S. Senate to school boards, will describe the role played by Uplift Campaigns, a digital and targeted media firm for Democratic campaigns and progressive political organizations. Almy currently leads the company’s data and ad operations department and will share the data that drove the 2024 election.
Joining Almy at the podium will be Karyn Lathan, constable in the University Lakes Justice Precinct. Lathan has over 25 years in law enforcement and corrections and has been a constable for six years. She will discuss the role played by constables as she runs for re-election in 2026.
Attendees at the meeting will also hear an update on issues affecting the Chandler Unified School District (CUSD) from one of the school board members and may, if the legislature is still in session, also receive an update on bills and propositions that will appear on the 2026 ballot.
SLDC is made up of like-minded individuals who are part of over 2,500 registered Democrats throughout the Sun Lakes area promoting an Arizona that works for everyone. We invite you to join us at 6:30 p.m. for a social hour, with the meeting starting at 7 p.m. on Monday, May 12, in the Navajo Room at Sun Lakes Country Club at 25601 E. Sun Lakes Blvd N, Sun Lakes.
