Congratulations to IronOaks Tennis Club members Diane James and Barb Jorgensen who recently competed at the USTA National Championships in Surprise, Ariz., March 31 through April 2. They were the representatives for the Southwest USTA Division.
Diane qualified by having the highest record in the 3.0 division throughout the year. Barb earned entrance as a qualifier by winning the Qualification Tournament on Feb. 18 at the Phoenix Tennis Center in Scottsdale.
They competed against players from as far away as Connecticut, New York, and North Dakota. While they didn’t bring home a trophy, they were proud to qualify. Congratulations!
