Eddie Caufmann, IWLN’s “Honorary Diva”

First, we want to wish our starter a very Happy Birthday! Eddie Caufmann is essential to how smoothly our IWLN outings go each week. He is always there to organize and get us off on time. This birthday is extra-special, because we inducted Eddie as an honorary member of our Ironwood Lady Niners “Diva” Club. Thank you, Eddie, for all you do each week.
We are now into “summer golf” for the IWLN league. With fewer golfers each week, we will sign up for foursome tee times each week at the clubhouse (no Chelsea sign-up for summer play). We have tee times starting at 7 a.m. every Wednesday.
We still have some invitational outings this summer if you are interested in playing. The Pinewood Country Club Lady Niners Invitational is on Wednesday, July 16, in Munds Park, Ariz. Many of our members have talked about how much fun this invitational is during summer play and with much better weather. It’s a great way to enjoy some summer golf with a little less heat. Be sure to check the flyer posted in the Ironwood clubhouse for more information.
With fewer members playing during summer, there’s less news to report. Have a great summer!
