The Ironwood Lady Niners (IWLN) held our annual holiday party on Dec. 3. We golfed and then held our luncheon at Poolside. Awards to league members were distributed, and holiday platters of cookies were given for prizes. As usual, we had a great turnout from IWLN members, and a great time of good food and conversation was had by all.
IWLN’s annual fundraiser for 2026 will be for Phoenix Children’s Hospital. As a group, we chose to give monetary donations instead of buying individual items to donate. We will collect donations starting Jan. 1 through our February Valentine event. Please consider donating to this worthy cause.
IWLN league members have been invited to participate in some outside invitationals across the state in 2026. Boots, Birdies & Bogeys, a ladies nine-hole invitational hosted by Sunland Village East, will be on Feb. 26. Apache Wells’ 9-Hole Swingers will hold an invitational on March 11. The SaddleBrooke One Invitational will be held on March 31. More information on these golf outings will be shared through the Ironwood golf clubhouse bulletin board. If interested, please sign up early, because spots will be limited.
Our IWLN league is hosting an invitational on March 25. Gilligan’s Island will be the theme for this outing, which will include games, prizes, and a luncheon. We want to encourage all lady golfers from across the state to join us on March 25.
