We are ready for fall golf! We are looking forward to seeing our members return from their summer residences and get back to the weekly golf league.
Overseed at Ironwood Golf Club will start on Sept. 28. Our first fall league date will be on Wednesday, Oct. 21 at 9 a.m. We will be back to using Chelsea for signing up for the weekly golf league after overseed. Remember, after overseed we will have “cart path only” for three weeks. So, on Oct. 21, 28, and Nov. 4, we will be cart path only for league golf on those days.
The Ironwood Lady Niners (IWLN) fall board meeting will be held on Oct. 19. Look for announcements from our president after this date that will impact league play. We will have the IWLN general meeting at 9 a.m. at Grill on the Green on Nov. 11. Please try to attend this meeting because new league officers will be elected that day. We will have league golf at 10 a.m. that morning after the meeting.
We always welcome new members to the IWLN league. On Nov. 18 we will have a Member/Guest day of golf during league play at 9 a.m. If you are interested in joining our league or just want to come out and try a round of golf with our league, find one of our current members and ask them to play with you that day. For more IWLN league information please see: ironwoodlady9ers.azgolf.org/league-information.
IWLN Holiday Party/Awards luncheon will be held on Dec. 2. Be sure to mark your calendar; more details will be shared regarding time and place soon.
