A somber and dejected group of golfers is pictured asking the question to themselves “What if?” I could have made history…

The first annual Todd Lenseigne Scramble was played on June 23, a hot humid day. A field of 84 players competed in this signature event with history and legacy all on the line!
This event was added to the IMGA schedule after careful thought and deliberation. Funding was provided by two Fortune 100 companies and one major sports outlet. The PIF fund responsible for the rogue PGA Tour alternative was unable to contribute based on lack of interest and legal troubles.
The winning team of Patrick Havey-Rick Staszewski-Don Crookston-Don Milberger posted -16 under. 2nd place went to Brock Nyberg-Al McCormick-Larry Gagnon-Alan Aken at -15. This team won in a scorecard playoff against Lee Smith-Neil Anderson-Bud Hewitt-Mike Tsangaris.
The namesake for this event did participate and unfortunately did not factor in any of the prize money. Next year he will have to qualify for his own event. Finally, as always, play ready golf. It is not that hard to be ready to hit and keep pace with the group in front of you.
